SoundSport Free имеют защиту от влаги по протоколу IPX4, поэтому выкладываться в них на беговой дорожке можно без проблем — специальное покрытие защищает корпус наушников от воздействия пота. Наушники явно созданы для активных передвижений и фитнеса: мягкие крючки на амбушюрах надежно фиксируют корпуса в ушных раковинах.

Еще одна фишка этих наушников — возможность расширить функциональность и управлять устройством с помощью фирменного приложения Bose Connect, доступного для iOS и Android. Приложение позволяет выполнить поиск наушников, обновить ПО наушников, настроить голосовые подсказки, сделать вручную сопряжение с источником. Встроенного плеера нет, но он здесь и не нужен: в iPhone стандартная «Музыка» очень хороша, а в Android есть как минимум дюжина добротных сторонних плееров.

Bose SoundSport Free отлично звучат для своего сегмента. Звук они выдают сбалансированный, конечно же, с преобладающим басом. Но это не «басхедный» звук.

НЧ. Подъём имеет место, но он не очень велик. Бас мощный, в меру детализированный.
СЧ. Есть подъём на верхней середине, что подчёркивает вокал и многие электронные эффекты. В целом, диапазон не задвинут на задний план, имеется подобие объёма.
ВЧ. Пиков на верхах нет, что уже хорошо. Натуральности скрипок тут ждать не стоит, но высокие ноты электрогитары мозг не «взорвут».

Mixed Usage

Alright for mixed usage. The Bose SoundSport Free are decently comfortable earbuds. Their-semi open design isn’t ideal for commuters or the office as they don’t really reduce noises like engine rumbles or chatter. However, they’re better suited for outdoor runners who want to stay alert to their surroundings. With their well-balanced sound profile, they’ll be great for most genres of audio. However, just like most truly wireless earbuds, their microphone will make your voice sound muffled and less detailed. These earbuds also aren’t designed for gaming, so you might experience lag that can impact your gameplay.

Not bad for commute and travel. The Bose SoundSport Free have weak noise isolation which won’t be ideal for the loud environments involved in commuting. While decently comfortable, they have a stiff control scheme and a somewhat bulky design for a truly wireless earbud which slightly reduces their portability. Their battery life isn’t great, either: at just under five hours of continuous playtime, you might not make it through long flights without giving them a charge.

Compared to other headphones

The Bose SoundSport Wireless are good sports headphones with an above-average sound and a comfortable earbud fit. They’re one of the best sounding wireless earbuds and best wireless earbuds for running we’ve reviewed; they’re compact and have a good wireless range, but their build quality isn’t as durable as some of the other wireless in-ear/earbuds we’ve reviewed.

5. Комфорт и управление

Bose SoundSport Free – комфортно и надёжно располагаются в ухе. Благодаря специальным фиксаторам StayHear+ на амбушюрах, наушники не выпадут ни во время тренировки в зале, ни во время пробежки ни при активном отрицании.

Однако Bose SoundSport Free реально очень большие. Они сильно выдаются из ушей, настолько, что их можно задеть рукой во время тренировки, под большинством шапок носить их в зимний период будет неудобно.

Что интересно, при этом модель очень лёгкая, а учитывая комфортную посадку, о Bose SoundSport Free забываешь через несколько минут. Слушать их, не снимая несколько часов подряд, – не проблема.

Bose SoundSport Free в ухе

Управление у Bose SoundSport Free кнопочное. На правом наушнике размещены кнопки увеличения и уменьшения громкости и многофункциональная клавиша. Не совсем интуитивно и распространено то, что за навигацию по трекам отвечает не длительное нажатие на клавиши громкости, а средняя кнопка. Кроме этого с её помощью можно запустить\остановить воспроизведение музыки, принять\отбить входящий вызов, вызвать голосового помощника.

На левом наушнике Bose SoundSport Free располагается одна кнопка управления Bluetooth. С её помощью можно переключаться между запомненными устройствами (до 7 штук).

К сожалению, кнопки управления имеют очень тугой ход. Их практически невозможно нажать, не поддерживая наушник снизу. Скорее, от такого нажатия наушник выпадет, но кнопка всё равно не нажмётся.

Bose Soundsport Pulse

Отслеживание сердечного ритма крайне важно для спортсменов и бегунов, на такое и ориентировались разработчики, выпустив наушники со встроенным пульсометром. Чем порадовали, удивили клиентов

Теперь можно не только слушать качественную музыку, но и следить за здоровьем. Беспроводной Soundsport Pulse с шейным проводом и вставками красного цвета. Через приложение можно следить за общим состоянием сердечного ритма клиента, история ритмов не ведется, но это небольшое упущение.

В комплекте Soundsport Wireless также несколько сменных насадок, которым стоит уделить внимание после покупки. Мягкие силиконовые ручки прочно удерживают устройство

Легкие по весу, 23 грамма.

Длительность работы встроенного аккумулятора Bose Pulse пять часов, что подойдет для тренировки или пробежки, но для повседневного использования необходимо подзаряжать устройство. Активного шумоподавления здесь также нет, но уже известна позиция компании о безопасности покупателей.

Датчик сердцебиения расположен в левом наушнике Bose Wireless, а ритм отображается в приложении Bose Connect Soundsport. Пользователи отмечают, что датчик более точный, чем в смарт-часах. Приятный звук, музыка передается чисто снова за счет встроенной системы.

Build & Design

Taking these out of the box I thought to myself, “There’s no way these are going to work.” Though the ear tips that go in your ear haven’t changed, the housing has. The wired SoundSports were nice and thin, but these are huge and bulky. It makes sense since all of the Bluetooth components had to go somewhere. Not to mention the new battery they stuffed inside that powers it all.

When you put them on, they bulge out of your ears to the point where I was certain they were going to fall out. I even brought a backup pair of headphones for when they inevitably fell out, but they weren’t needed. Maybe these aren’t as bulky as they look or it could be because of the StayHear+ sports tips, but these didn’t fall out at all. In terms of design they’re definitely bulky and not too pretty, but they work and that’s all that matters. On top of the right earbud is a single button responsible for pairing and powering them on, but you’ll still have to use the in-line mic and remote for playback controls. The control module and the wire are also nicely constructed and don’t go flying around as I run, which was the main reason why the Jaybird Freedoms kept getting pulled out of my ear.

As far as build materials go these are made of a hard plastic, which is expected considering they’re water and sweat resistant. Still, there’s been a few reports of people having issues with sweat damaging the headphones. Bose has already stated they’ve fixed the issue and will have an updated version of the headphones coming in August. If you already bought the SoundSports and they’ve been damaged Bose will replace them free of charge. But that said, my personal experience with them was great. I didn’t have any issues at all. I tested these by running every day for about two weeks and they still function perfectly.

Полностью аккумулятор кейса заряжается за 2 часа, сами наушники от чехла за полтора часа. Есть функция быстрой зарядки, за 15 минут можно зарядить наушники на 45 минут воспроизведения.

Кейс Bose SoundSport Free выглядит красиво и удобно. Он покрыт приятным на ощупь Soft-Touch’ем, открывая защёлку сразу видишь остаток заряда (отображается несколькими индикаторами). Наушники располагаются внутри легко и надёжно, крепления магнитные, отображение заряда наушников по-отдельности имеется.

Bose SoundSport Free имеют влагозащиту по стандарту IPX4. Даже изматывающую тренировку пережить должны. Амбушюры можно, естественно, мыть, а вот корпуса лучше протирать салфетками, погружение в воду они не выдержат.

Bose SoundSport Free имеют очень слабую пассивную шумоизоляцию. Буквально всё происходящее вокруг хорошо слышно, если музыка играет где-то в районе средней громкости.

Это подчёркивает узкую специализацию модели. Для пробежки по улице – это отличное решение, музыка слышна, но и окружающий мир не сможет преподнести неприятных сюрпризов. В зале – тоже хорошо (если только не играет «общая» музыка, её сложно будет перекрыть наушниками), можно сосредоточиться, но понимать, что (и кто) происходит вокруг.

Bose SoundSport Free соединяются с источником по Bluetooth (не установленной версии) без поддержки aptX. Сопряжение проходит стандартным для полностью беспроводных наушников образом, достал заряженные наушники из заряженного же кейса, нашёл их в списке доступных устройств и готово. Поддержки одновременного соединения с несколькими устройствами нет, можно только переключаться между запомненными ранее (до 7 девайсов)

Bose SoundSport Free относятся к сегменту True-Wireless наушников, но полного TWC соединения тут нет. Главный наушник – правый, он соединяется с источником и передаёт сигнал на левый.

Качество соединения достойное. Bose SoundSport Free стабильно работают, если источник лежит в соседней комнате даже через пару стен, в заднем кармане штанов, под курткой и т. д. Однако, при минусовых температурах связь гораздо хуже. «Коннект» между наушниками периодически распадается, появляются артефакты и лаги даже при повороте головы. Не для зимних пробежек.

Однако, сопряжение Bose SoundSport Free с компьютером (и Windows, и Mac) – печальный процесс. Чаще всего наушники определяются как гарнитура, соответственно и звук подаётся в моно-режиме в один наушник. При доле удачливости или после «танцев с бубном» можно подключить данную модель и как наушники. Но это реально неудобно и для большинства пользователей сценарий использования в тандеме с компьютером отпадает.

Bose SoundSport Free можно подключать и использовать через приложение Bose Connect. Самая полезная его функция – как раз обновление прошивки наушников.
