Феррари писта

Description

Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the 488 Pista takes its roots from the successful 488 GT3/GTE and 488 Challenge race variants. The car has received multiple mechanical and exterior upgrades to become more capable than the standard 488 GTB.

The 3.9 L (3,902 cc) twin-turbocharged V8 engine, known internally as the F154 CD, now makes 710 hp (529 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 568 ft·lb (770 N·m) at 3,000 rpm thanks to the use of a new camshaft, a bigger intercooler, strengthened pistons, titanium connecting rods, and 488 Challenge-derived Inconel exhaust manifolds. The 488 Pista features a revised rear-driving seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with shifts done in 30 milliseconds when in race mode.

The Pista also has been changed on the exterior: air passes through the ducts in the front bumper which direct it through a large vent in the hood, creating more downforce over the nose at high speeds. Helping boost performance further, the air intake tunnels have been moved from the flanks to the rear wing area to optimize clean air flow. Other exterior changes include underbody diffusers and the rear diffuser borrowed from the 488 GTE. In total, the Pista creates 20% more downforce and, with a weight of 3214 lb (1458 kg), is 198 lb (90 kg) lighter than the GTB.

The Pista is capable of 0 — 60 mph (0 — 97 km/h) in 2.85 seconds, 0 — 124 mph (0 — 200 km/h) in 7.6 seconds, and a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h).

The Pista is currently the second fastest mid-engined road car around Ferrari’s Fiorano test track, with 01:21.5 for a lap time, 2 seconds behind the LaFerrari’s 01:19.7. With all road cars considered, it is the third fastest, behind the Ferrari F12tdf’s 01:21.0.
