Один из таких проектов – сайт Boomstarter. Здесь любой человек может опубликовать проект, на который требуются инвестиции. Это может быть как небольшой бизнес, так и музыкальная группа. Ограничений практически нет. Очень удобно, ведь до недавнего времени Kickstarter в России не работал.

После сбора средств автор проекта должен будет поделиться с инвесторами частью того, что получилось в итоге. К примеру, если это музыкальная группа, то автор отправляет билет на концерт. Если изделие, то высылается оно само или предоставляется скидка на покупку.

К примеру, совсем недавно компания Pebble собирала средства на начало производства новый «умных» часов. Пользователей они настолько впечатлили, что компания собрала 10 миллионов долларов всего за одни сутки. И таких случаев все больше.

Разработчикам часто удается убедить людей в том, насколько их проект хорош, и требуемую для его реализации сумму собирают буквально в считанные часы. К примеру, мало кто знает, что производители популярного аксессуара для iPhone Elevation Dock (это алюминиевая док-станция) собирали деньги на его производство при помощи Kickstarter. Для этого требовалась не самая большая по меркам краудфандинговой платформы сумма – 75 тысяч долларов. Необходимая сумма была собрана всего за три дня. Вернее, собрать удалось целых полтора миллиона. Благодаря этим деньгам, создатели аксессуара наладили продажи через огромное количество посредников и на данный момент процветают. И все это благодаря Kickstarter.

Картина несколько печальная, и пока еще не время говорить, что русские сайты для стартапов могут состязаться с Kickstarter. Русский аналог иностранных краудфандинговых платформ пока еще неспособен обеспечить достойной отдачи. Сходу будет крайне сложно привести пример успешного, связанного с какой-либо технологией сайта. Проекты, которые нацелены на искусство, справляются с задачей сбора денежных средств гораздо лучше, но поднять сумму от ста тысяч рублей и выше и здесь практически невозможно. Только 5 из 25 успешных стартапов решили замахнуться на такую сумму. При этом многие такие проекты собирали деньги при участии известных представителей шоу-бизнеса. А это уже напоминает нечестную конкуренцию.

How Projects Work

Most of our Terms of Use explain your relationship with Kickstarter. This section is different—it explains the relationship between creators and backers of Kickstarter projects, and who’s responsible for what. This is what you’re agreeing to when you create or back a Kickstarter project.

Kickstarter provides a funding platform for creative projects. When a creator posts a project on Kickstarter, they’re inviting other people to form a contract with them. Anyone who backs a project is accepting the creator’s offer, and forming that contract.

Kickstarter is not a part of this contract—the contract is a direct legal agreement between creators and their backers. Here are the terms that govern that agreement:
